The brief for this home was to take the existing double storey fibro shack and tramsform it into a super comfortable, resort-style beach retreat that made Noosa available every weekend to it’s Melbourne owners.  This weekend retreat is within 500 metres of the beach in “Old Torquay”.  The home had to be respectful of the white painted weatherboard homes of Old Torquay at the same time as offering a degree of sheltered zen and luxury that spoke of warm tropical retreats far from the cold Southern Ocean winds of Victoria’s south coast.
